Rough Riders

So you are a landlord and want your grounds to look nice. You spend a good amount of money for maintenance. You want your property to look its best, not only for your tenants, but for the pride you have in the ownership of something that's attractive to look at. Well, if you were such a landlord, you wouldn't let your bozo golf cart/mini-vehicle riders do this to your grounds:

Some examples, and there are more, of the rough riders in Stuyvesant Town who mar any landscaping their vehicles cut through.

You need to remember that our landlord has no interest whatsoever in beautifying the grounds. The plantings are strictly for the purposes of filing for an MCI. That is why they keep the project going by planint, removing, planting removing, destroying, drilling, paving. It is what is know as a BOONDOGGLE and unfortunately, the rent regulated tenants will be asked to foot the bill. This is a landlord that will create problems in order to have to fix them and then claim it as an MCI. They are just evil, corrupt crooks.

Is this outside 447/449 East 14th Street? I walked by there yesterday and there were workers reseeding it for the 30th time only to have a golf cart run through it 20 minutes later. Maybe it's time to bring back those chain link borders.

Yes, one of those photos is of the area in front of that building; the other photo was taken behind the building, near the hockey playground.
